The mining and metal industries contribute significantly to our economy but also face challenges related to resource depletion and environmental degradation. Incorporating sustainability and circularity into these sectors has become essential for ensuring long-term economic growth.. In the last decade, the field of Mineral Processing has witnessed tremendous growth. The mineral sector plays a pivotal role in achieving the ambitious target of Vikshit Bharat by 2047.

The IIME Bhubaneswar Chapter is actively engaged in various initiatives to bring together all stake holders like professionals, researchers, experts in this domain and organising seminars, conferences, professional interactions, industrial tours, invited talks, training and skill development programs through collaborations and innovations . Additionally, we collaborate with government bodies and agencies to drive advancements in playing pivotal role in shaping a sustainable future in the mineral and steel sectors.

Our chapter thrives due to the dedication and expertise of its qualified and professional members, who have been instrumental in its success over the years.
